Fridate x TNS .

When one talks about food in Takashimaya, the first thing that occurs to most would be the Takashimaya basement, where a vast variety of food and snacks huddle together in a well, tucked within the gourmet section.
While me & my bestf chose that place for our friday dinner! #let'sgo

Ambush Pasta Bar is one of the hidden secrets of Takashimaya basement.
It's is a quaint little place situated in the basement that specializes in European cuisine.
Selling pasta at the same price as Pastamania, the quality of the food is significantly better as well. What you pay for is exactly what you get... a decent amount of red or white sauce and a decent amount of ingredients.

They serves simple and (relatively) cheap western food like pasta and sausages.
Pastas are available from $11, and you can add on to upgrade to a set.

Just top up a few bucks & you can choose between a nice bowl of soup or a slice of their dessert. They also serve rosti with sausages.

Ivy ordered Vongole in white wine sauce,
while i've got my favorite White Cod Fillet in tomato white sauce.
And we've picked Minestrone (soupoftheday) & Salad for sides!
It's really tasty & good ...

Signature Dishes:
Baby Squid Ink Pasta / Lamb Shank / Mussels in Signature Sauce
Pork Knuckles / Rosti with Sausage / Seafood Paella

Dining there is pretty much fuss-free!
You queue up to make your order while the waitstaff find you a table.

Yeah so basically, there is no service charge, while GST are already included in the menu,
so the price you see on the menu is the price you pay.
Price and quality wise it is definitely worth it, give it a try and you'll be surprised hehe!

Not only are the pastas affordable, they are super yummy too. In particular the seafood dishes, which I have a soft spot for. As the name suggests, duh, the restaurant serves their own pasta creations, and we were treated to some surprises!

With commendable service and quality food that is good for value, Ambush Pasta Bar serves pasta so truly worth it, be it in terms of the taste, texture or quantity. I love!

My cosy corner for manicure & pedicure!

I'm in their comfy towel robe as they always serve customers that in case they feel cold,
and of course my favourite pinky bolster too!
Look more like spa than nail parlour right ... #camwhore starts!

They have all sorts of varieties to nail polish & gelish colors.
And you'll simply became like me, indecisive on those beautiful colors!
I love glitters & yet i'm their regular, i've conquered most of the glitter gelish colors btw haha!

Their main outlet is "The Nail Status", while i last visited was their other outlet called "The Nail Status Cottage" which is just few shops away from main! And my favorite manicurist, Jony below!

A favourite among many of Singapore’s beauty bloggers and air stewardesses,
The Nail Status (or more affectionately called as TNS by local babes) is known for affordable,
good quality nail services often at promotional prices.

In fact, it is probably one of the cheapest (and good!) nail salons in Far East Plaza!
Whether it is magnetic, gelish or french manicures and pedicures,
customers tend to be satisfied with the outcome of their nail service EXCEPT when TNS is running at full capacity during festive seasons/busy periods.
Hence, choose your timing properly before deciding to go for TNS.
(Even during off-peak periods, TNS is often full. So prepare to wait!)

As business is often very good, you may also find that therapists are not-as-friendly as other salons with lesser business. Don't get offended yea, they are just being busy lol. *Note that they offer also brow services although they are not as well received as nail services.

MARCH PROMOTION! IS A MUST!!!

Definitely very very worth .........
You still have two weeks before it expires!! Gogogo!
