It's time for a good get-together, with Cahootssg!

Cahootssg invites selected influencers to join them for a gathering monthly, to thank them for the support and engagement in all the past campaigns. And lucky to say i've got invited for the august get-together session!

I was so looking forward to the gathering as i'd got to know that the venue is Timbre+ located at Ayer Rajah Cres, which i always wanted to visit that special & unique hawker with famous tasty foodies! And yes! Mayne was attending too, so i don't feel lonely nor awkward haha oops!

The place was nicely prepared & decorated to welcome us! *thankyou*

What does these look like to you guys? I've no idea in the first place, all i thought was some cakes pastries etc as they are made in cubes form and mini sizes... Look again! SURPRISED?! (I was amazed). I'd tried the teriyaki-chicken rice & the nasi lemak cubes, and they taste really awesome. Such a interesting and creative way to eat your food!

Omg this Yuzu Matcha Cheesecake is so god damn good. Mango lovers (like me) should give it a try! There's a little scent of mango in it. Very refreshing taste, not too sweet (healthy choice), while the bottom sponge filling is made matcha.

Which is one of the place my boy and i usually dine in aft work, and i'd rate 9/10 stars.

Finally visited here aft so long of saying. 49 Seats!

"Why is it called 49 Seats?"

As tacky as it may sound, the name "49 Seats" also mean 49 seats, nothing more nothing less unless you decide to bring your own foldable chairs haha! And yes it is, with exactly 49 seats inside this Western Restaurant and bar! Again, the number 49. Located at 49 Kreta Ayer Road, no wonder the name as chosen as "49 Seats".

So now you know where the name came from? :D

To me, the food at 49 Seats is understatedly good, the menu has affordable offerings such as pastas and chicken chop etc. While happy hour starts from 4pm-9pm [mon - sat].

Soup of the day & Garlic Bread

"It's definitely one of the best mushroom soup I've ever tried.
It is rich of mushroom taste and really thick. Goes well with the bread.

Cheese fries!

"Fries with a massive load of cheese and mayo on top of those crispy hot piping shoe string fries!

Could compete with the one which Kfc is carrying, almost taste the same!

Tomyum Seafood Pasta

"The most raved about dish online from 49 Seats! It's one of their signature dish, with bits of clams, prawns and mussels! Resembled eating a thick version of laksa more than tomyum, which is really very unique-tasting and it would take a true tomyum lover to appreciate the taste. Some secret recipe included.
A-MUST-TRY FOR SPICY LOVERS!

Shrooms Chicken Chop

"It was grilled to perfection and the sauce made it really tasty. The chicken was tender with crisp golden skin and char-grilled taste, paired with the mushroom sauce which was my favourite! Yet still, there's varieties to choose for the side dishes to go along with your main course too. While i picked pasta salad and whipped potato!

Beef Bolognaise Pasta 

"I've nothing much to comment on this actually as i didn't tried it but my girlf said it was good if you love beef and capsicums!

I would say 49 Seats isn't one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes but the food would keep me going back! The western food served there is above average and really worth its price. The service staff are also friendly and helpful, making the dining experience enjoyable. I urge you to try their food soon!

Best thing about 49 Seats is .. Prices are Nett!! No Service Charge! No GST!
